You

Many studies have noted that those who
implement healthy lifestyle in their daily life will be spared from some chronic
diseases such as cancer, diabetes and heart disease.
Recent research done in Germany with mengampil
sample of 23,513 adults between the ages of 35 to 65 years. The research began
in the mid 90s. Variables of interest included weight and height, history of
previous illness, and the foods they consume.
Four healthy lifestyle they should follow
during the eight years of research are:
- No smoking.
- Exercise at least 3.5 hours per week.
- Keeping the body mass index (BMI) of less than 30.
- Consumption of healthy foods like fruits, vegetables, bread and less meat.
After
the study, most respondents only do one of the four habits and only 9% are
fulfilling their fourth four.
After changing the pattern of life that
influences the occurrence of disease, the researchers concluded that those who
follow these four healthy lifestyle will reduce the risk of chronic disease as
much as 78%. The details are as follows:
- The risk of type 2 diabetes decreased by 93%.
- The risk of suffering from heart disease decreased by 81%.
- The risk of suffering from stroke decreased by 50%.
- The risk of suffering from cancer decreased by 36%.
The
study also mentioned that the younger a habit this is done then the results
achieved will be more satisfactory. So if you want to remain healthy,
immediately do the four tips above.
